Maine People's Climate March: Augusta

April 29, 2017, 10:00am - April 29, 2017, 12:00pm

Join with 350 Midcoast Maine, Maine Conservation Voters, Natural Resources Council of Maine, and Maine People's Alliance on April 29th to stand up for climate justice, jobs, and Maine's climate future!

We will meet at 111 Sewall Street in Augusta, behind the State House for a rally. Then we will march around town to draw attention to the need for climate action for a safe and sustainable future. We will march back to the State House and rally once more to close it out.

You will hear from speakers who are fighting for jobs, justice, and the climte in Maine at the rallies and be able to meet local organizations looking for new volunteers and advocates.
